If life feels heavy right now, whether from stress, loss, change, or past experiences,
counselling can offer a safe space where you are truly heard.

How counselling can help
Counselling gives you space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s going on for you.
Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or a general sense that things don’t feel quite right, therapy can help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more able to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

My way of working
My approach
I work using a Humanistic and Integrative approach. This means I draw from a range of therapeutic models and techniques, adapting our work to suit your individual needs. I believe each person has the potential to grow, heal and develop greater self-awareness. Together, we can explore what gives your life meaning and work through your present life challenges.
Who I support
I provide therapy for adults and students (18+) navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief, parenting difficulties, disability, relationship difficulties, ageing, caring responsibilities and loneliness. I support clients with both short-term challenges and offer longer-term therapy for those working through trauma.
Sessions last up to an hour and offer a confidential, non-judgmental space. My aim is to create an environment where you feel safe and supported as we work collaboratively toward your well-being. I work within the ethical framework of the IACP and under The Children's First Act (2015) and have Garda clearance. I will explain theses in more depth at our first session.
What to expect
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if counselling is right for me?
If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need a safe space to talk through life’s challenges, counselling can be beneficial. It offers a unique environment to explore your feelings without judgment.
What happens in the first session?
The initial session is about understanding your needs. We’ll talk about what brings you here and what you hope to gain from our time together. There will be time to ask questions and what to expect in a session.
Is our work confidential?
Confidentiality is fundamental to our work. Everything discussed stays within our safe space, with exceptions only made according to ethical and legal safety guidelines (IACP). I will explain these clearly at the beginning of our work together.
Do you offer sessions online?
Yes, I offer sessions in person in Ennis and Limerick, as well as online sessions via a secure, confidential video platform.
